Commemorative Plaque

In addition to our brick fundraiser where for $250 township residents can buy a brick to be installed in the new building, our Capital Campaign is also planning to commemorate larger contributors to the campaign with a commemorative plaque to be permanently installed in the library.

The actual size and materials are still being defined. It will likely be metal and resemble those “Centennial Farm” plaques you see in the country. If you’re an artist or metalworker and have some ideas for us, please reach out.

Donors to the Capital Campaign will be acknowledged in three separate categories.

1. Supporters
Supporters are those who have donated a minimum of $1000 & up to $4999 to the New Building Fund. As of this writing, we have 3 supporters whose names will appear on the plaque. Buy 4 bricks and become a supporter!

2. Advocates
Advocates have donated between $5,000 and $9,999. We currently have two Advocates for our plaque.

3. Benefactors
Any contribution $10,000 or more make one a Benefactor. We currently have three benefactors.

The plaque will also include a small area to identify the Trustees and Director as well as a quote from Andrew Carnegie.
