Township Library Project Makes it Into House FY2022 Appropriations Bill
Township Library officials learned late last week that their “Community Project Funding” request for $500k has made it out of the U. S. House Appropriations Committee and into the House FY2022 Appropriations Bill. The Bill still needs to be ratified by both the House and Senate which is not expected until late this year.
Things could change in the Bill, but it’s important to acknowledge the significance of the Library’s request making it out of Committee and into the Bill.
Here is a link to the complete list of all “Community Funded Projects” in the Bill.

It must be stated that only ten projects can be selected for consideration and that not all ten will be successfully funded.
On behalf of Addison Township, we feel honored to be selected for the next stage of consideration. Funding in full or in part helps us reach our goal to build the first community owned library facility in the history of Addison Township, thus powering our potential to exponentially improve literacy, education and technology for the whole community!
