The Plan

Our plan is to build an approximately 5,000 sq. ft library on the donated land.

Some may ask why we need to build a library.  What’s wrong with the building we’re in today?  The favorable rate of our current lease expired in March of 2021.

Donate

Our library is fiscally strong.

We have explored multiple options for funding the construction of our new building and believe a combination of funding sources would best serve the community. Capital campaign donations will offset the planned construction loan.

Collection + Community + Creativity = Your Public Library

A Library is More Than its Collection

A Library is a wonderful combination of the collection, the people who visit the library, the people who manage library, and all the creative things that happen when people are inspired to grow and learn.

Our Library is Constantly Changing to Serve the Needs and Interests of our Community

It is guided by an elected Board of Trustees who volunteer their time to help ensure that the community’s investment is properly returned to the community.  It is managed by an extraordinary Director, whose education, experience, and desire has brought her to our community to provide to us the guidance and vision which makes our library the special place that it is.  Our Library is supported by the countless volunteers who give back to the community their time and resources to make our library successful, because they believe in libraries and how they contribute to communities like ours.

Our Library Exists Because of You

Because you’re here today, on this Website, to learn more about our new building project and how you can help.  Thank you for your visit.
