New Building Update: September 16, 2026
Construction Progress and Updates
- Egress window installation complete. (All 4 Windows)
- Hose spigots installed per concept of rear patio from SE Michigan Rural Library Grant.
- HVAC installing in progress. Ducted work on site and boring through walls needed for HVAC complete. Additional chase for duct work will be created on NE corner (shown in images).
- Plumbing installation going well (mop sink and all water lines installed.)
- Water well powered and pressurized. Will work on planning inspection from county for final approval.
- Exterior brick washing planned (week of sept. 14th).
- Exterior sealing and prep for painting in planning.
- Locksets installed for all doors. Rekeying planned for locks and keys will be provided to the library.
